With over 30 years of experience in higher education, she has held several prominent leadership positions in the academic sector, most recently as the Chief Academic Officer and Accreditation Liaison Officer for American Tech and Management University in California.

Passionate about education and teaching, Dr. Norderhaug has served as an accreditation consultant, state authorization advisor, and curriculum development consultant for multiple private universities in the U.S., helping them successfully obtain their state license and accreditation in record time — including ACCSC, DEAC, COE, and TRACS accreditation pathways.

As the founder and CEO of Expert Education Consultants, Dr. Norderhaug has successfully led a team of 35+ experts to help over 115 colleges, universities, and vocational schools obtain their state authorization, establish their operations, and achieve accreditation across all 50 U.S. states.

Richard is responsible for ensuring every client engagement runs on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
